Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development for children 2-8 years of age. The caring Soccer Shots team aims to positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, communication, and curriculum. The goal is to support the physical and emotional development of children and the families that contribute and make-up the Queens, NY community. That is what inspired owners Dianne and Ali to bring Soccer Shots to Queens.

The Soccer Shots curriculum is written by soccer professional and education experts. Soccer Shots has an expert-approved curriculum that is age-appropriate and aligns with the New York Early Learning Guidelines and childhood education standards. The Soccer Shots program supports the physical well-being, motor development, social and emotional development, cognition, language and communication and much more. The best thing, is that this all happens while our soccer friends have lots of as they learn new soccer skills, play games, and make new friends. Soccer Island is a place of community, memories, family, friends and accomplishments!
Programs:
Soccer Shots is not a competitive soccer program, at its core we want to have a positive impact and FUN through Soccer. Soccer Shots offers Spring, Summer, Fall and Indoor Winter programming. Soccer Shots offering three programs. Each of our three core programs teaches the right skills at the right age.
- Mini (Ages 2 – 3 years old) – The high energy program introduces children o the fundamentals such as using your feet and basic game rules, through fun games, and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of being active and playing soccer.
- Classic (3 – 5 years old) – Using creative and imaginative weeks, Soccer Shots sessions focus on basic skills and highlight a positive character trait each session to help build a well-rounded athlete and child.
- Premier (6 – 8 years old) – The program focusses on individual fitness, and sportsmanship. The program focused on challenging children through games, and team interaction. In this program they are introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner.
