Hey there MK readers. Since we are all in agreement that essential workers and frontline personnel are our everyday heroes, I wanted to nominate and celebrate our own local nurse from Fresh Meadows, Elaine Evangelou Soto, MSN/RN, and Clinical Nurse Manager Inpatient Medicine/Oncology Outpatient Infusion at New York-Presbyterian Queens.
Elaine is currently juggling parenting two kids that are homeschooling during this pandemic and the daily chaos and hard work required at the hospital.
Despite what is going on, Elaine is always a picture of positivity and happiness.
