Snack Attack Got You?

Bench those sunflower seeds and go for hemp seeds instead!

By Grace Agostino October 1, 2019

Sports season has officially begun and going to the old potato chip and sunflower seed snack idea is quite frankly boring... not to mention GMO laden. Keeping your kids (and yourself!) healthy has never been easier. Eaton Hemp, the New York-based organic hemp seed super snack company, has launched their line of toasted Super Seeds ($19.99/8-pack) and Super Squares ($7.99) all made with organic hemp seed grown on their farm in Eaton, NY, and other organic farms around the country with their same values.

Eaton Hemp seeds are the solution to the never ending snack conundrum. Why you ask? Well, let me tell you!

Eaton Hemp seeds are high in quality protein. Hemp seeds are very different from hemp hearts. They contain the hull of the seed which contains the prebiotic fiber .Prebiotics promote the increase of friendly bacteria in the gut, help to maintain a healthy digestive system and can even boost your immune system. Prebiotic foods have also been known to support a healthy metabolism and maintain overall good health . Eaton Hemp seeds contain  No added sugar , are completely plant based,  and 100% Organic!

Eaton Hemp seeds deliver added benefits for moms too:

  • a rich source of fiber
  • high in GLA
  • regulates hormonal health and balance
  • fosters brain health for pre and post natal development
  • plus the perfect balance of Omega 3s to Omega 6s

All the above make for an incredible snack for kids. No added sugars/unnatural preservatives reduces brain fog in kids. High fiber and complete protein gives kids the clean energy for them to go throughout their day without being constantly hungry.

Eaton Hemp seeds are available in flavors like Maple Cinnamon, Cashew Coconut Mango and more.In the coming months, Eaton Hemp plans to add a new Chocolate Sea Salt flavor, single-serve Super Squares and a full line of Full Spectrum CBD products.

My favorite are the Himalayan Pink Salt and the Maple Cinnamon. I sprinkle the Maple Cinnamon on my oatmeal and I use the Pink Salt when finishing off a savory dish for some added crunch. After all, we probably get rid of some of the benefits of protein due to cooking foods at high heat,  using the seeds as a topper ensures that we deliver all of the good stuff! I can't wait to bake with these little guys.

Eaton Hemp believes firmly in whole plant nutrition. This is why they didn’t strip the hull of the seeds. They are firm about the seed being provided by nature like that for a reason, and that the nutrients work together to make it super complete (nature's most nutrient dense superfood) .

Eaton Hemp’s current line of whole hemp seed super snacks are available for purchase on EatonHemp.com and in select Fairway, Whole Foods and health food stores across the U.S.

ABOUT EATON HEMP :

Eaton Hemp is an organic hemp seed super snack company born on the first farm licensed to grow hemp in New York in over 80 years. Eaton Hemp’s super snacks are made of nature’s most nutritionally complete food source: hemp, which packs a powerful punch of plant-based protein, high amounts of prebiotic fiber, and the essential amino acids your body needs in the ideal omega 3:6 ratio. In 2016, Founder’s Mark Justh and Dan Dolgin worked with the Governor and New York State Assembly to write new legislation that allowed farmers to legally grow hemp in New York. They brought on Bryan D’Alessandro as co-founder and CEO, leveraging his experience in brand development to launch the Eaton Hemp brand. Today, the farm grows a portion of the hemp used by the Eaton Hemp brand, with the remaining production coming from a network of farmers across the US, in an attempt to use hemp to help revitalize the North American agricultural landscape.
