I’m Alison, I’m 36, and I’m still trying to lose about 30 pounds of my baby weight even though my “baby” is now 7. In college it was so easy–I could live on fast food, pizza, and beer, and my metabolism would burn it off. Now for the last year, I fluctuate plus or minus five pounds based on any given week, regardless of the effort I put in to losing weight (which, let’s be honest is more some weeks than others).
With the new year, I’m back on the “I should really get in better shape” kick. This is HUGE for me! I work full-time and have two very active kids, so free time isn’t something I have often. With beginner, intermediate, and advanced workouts available, I can start at the beginning and take as long as I need to master those exercises before moving on to the next level. This was really helpful since I had never taken yoga or Pilates classes, which are some of the workout elements along with ballet and traditional strength exercises.

I don’t have to run.
I don’t like to run. I have lots of friends who complete 5Ks, half-marathons, and even a few who do marathons, but running is not for me. Fit Tower™ gives me a workout option that piques my interest while improving my health–a win-win!
